Painted bathtub?

We love this house we live in, but for some unknown reason, the previous owners painted the bathtub. There's only one of us in the house who takes baths and it's obvious to me that the previous owners never used the bathtub. At least, they never used it once it was painted.

'Cuz, after a while the paint starts peeling off! That looks a bit daggy but it's hours of fun slowly peeling it from the tub. More fun than peeling the sunburn off your little brother's shoulders!

So if you are inclined to paint that tub another colour, do as the previous owners did and paint and run!
